Cross Platform Support (PC and Mac)

The World-CARE agent (PC and Mac) provides a non intrusive, non evasive and seamless Operating System service addition. This light-weight agent initiates all communications back to the server. It is responsible for communicating system information and status back to the server,
and for executing tasks and delivering managed services as defined by the MSP and the client company.

World-CARE does not need any input ports opened on client machines. This lets the agent do its job in any network configuration without introducing susceptibility to inbound port probes or new network attacks. Communication between the components is secure from all perspectives. World-CARE protects against man-in-the-middle attacks by encrypting all communications between the agent and server with full 256-bit RC4 encryption protecting all sessions. The keys roll every session and passwords are never exposed. The World-CARE MSPE fully automates all key management, eliminating human error induced security breaches.

Architecturally designed for maximum scalability, the World-CARE Mac Agent broadens your endpoint management capabilities by extending the power of the World-CARE IT Automation Framework. Utilize a single integrated platform to automate, manage and remotely control all PCs and Macs on the network directly from your Internet Explorer™ Browser. With support for Mac OS X, a UNIX operating system, the World-CARE Mac Agent represents the first of many upcoming Agent releases such as Linux and mobility device support.
